My Gym Coach
Overview
My Gym Coach is a training and workout app that helps users create programs, log workouts, and track training progress. This Privacy Policy explains how My Gym Coach handles account information and training data.
Information We Collect
My Gym Coach may collect and store the following information when you use the app:
- User account information, including the email address and account identifier used for sign-in.
- Workout, program, exercise, check-in, notes, and training progress data you create in the app.
- Support messages or requests that you send to My Gym Coach.
- Device and app information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Firebase Authentication and Data Storage
My Gym Coach uses Firebase Authentication to support account sign-in and user identity. Account-linked workout, program, and training data may be stored using Firebase services, including cloud database storage, so the app can associate training content with your account and restore it when supported.
How We Use Information
We use user data to:
- Provide account access and authentication.
- Save and display your training programs, workout logs, and progress tracking information.
- Respond to support, privacy, account, and data deletion requests.
- Maintain app reliability, security, and compliance.
Payments and Subscription Access
My Gym Coach uses Stripe to process website subscription payments. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, and transaction information needed to process payments. My Gym Coach does not store full card numbers in Firebase or in the mobile app.
After a successful website payment, My Gym Coach stores account access fields in Firebase so the mobile app can determine whether your account currently has self-guided subscription access.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user account information and training data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
Data Sharing and Sale
My Gym Coach does not sell user data. We may use service providers, such as Firebase, Stripe, and email services, only as needed to operate the app, authenticate accounts, process website payments, store data, maintain security, and respond to support requests.
Data Deletion Requests
You may request account and data deletion from within the app when available or by emailing support@mygymcoachapp.com. Include the email address associated with your My Gym Coach account and state that you are requesting account and data deletion.
After receiving a deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to verify the request and delete known account-linked training data, subject to technical, security, fraud-prevention, and legal retention requirements.
